Do I have to fill in 'User 331 Code' in the report form if I am not using connected Glucose Analyser?

A:

Yes, all participants are required to fill in all fields in the report form.

 

 

Q:

Do we have to do the EQA samples if we are not using connected Glucose Analyser?

A:

Yes, the POCT Glucose External Quality Assurance Programme is targeted for both connected and non-connected Blood Glucose Analyser user groups.

 

 

Q:

If we have more than one glucometer in the ward, what should we do?

A:

Analyse EQA samples with anyone of your glucometers randomly as it reflects real-life practice for patient anaylsis.

   

Q:

What should we do with the EQA samples after analysis?

A:

Store the samples at room temperature for one month.  It can be used for repeat analysis if needed.

   
Q: What does 'Patient Mode' refer to?
A: This selection is only required in certain analyser types such as PCx and i-STAT 1.  Please ignore it if not required by your analyser.
   
Q: Is Accu-chek Advantage the same as Accu-chek Advantage II?
A: Yes.
