Ignore the barcode code if you are not using PCx or iSTAT.

Q:

The BGA I use is not in the registered list, what should I do?

A:

Please inform your BGA link nurse or other registered supervisor of your unit to register the BGA before result reporting.

Q: Why the QC material is difficult to resuspend?
A: This is because the matrix of QC material is similar to whole blood. You must ensure thorough mixing by multiple inversion.

Q: I am using a BGA from Chemical Pathology (or other department) to analyse the QC sample.  How should I report the QC result?
A: The ownership of the BGA is not important as far as the QAP is concerned.  You must select the BGA you used to analyse the QC sample in result reporting.
